Job summary

The Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) is seeking a Patient Care Associate to manage daily health center patient flow, reduce wait times, and ensure a positive patient experience. You will maintain center systems and jump in when needed to support operations.

You will collaborate with clinic leadership, support electronic health records, and help train volunteers and staff while upholding HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily health center patient flow and triage.
• Monitor wait times and optimize room utilization.
• Coordinate staffing patterns with clinic leadership.
• Maintain teamwork and high-quality customer service.
• Support goal-driven productivity and patient satisfaction.
• Perform duties of Patient Care Associate as needed.
