Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking a Patient Care Associate to join our Clinical Services team for a full-time 37.5-hour work week at our Hempstead, NY health center.

In this role you will handle patient intake, front desk duties, medical history, and health education, while supporting efficient clinic operations and providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care. Schedule may include evenings or Saturdays with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to Planned Parenthood mission and health equity.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records.
• Superior customer service and teamwork with flexible schedule.
• Interest in racial equity and social justice in health care.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake at the clinic and front desk duties.
• Review patient history and record findings in EHR.
• Provide health education on sexual and reproductive health services.
• Assist in ensuring efficient clinic operations and compliance with policies.
• Support lab tasks, clinical duties, and PPE protocols.
