Qualifications

• Experience in admitting, bed management, patient placement/throughput preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with business partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, hospital administration, patients, and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all consult, admission, transfer and pre-op activities.
• Manage traffic flow of new patients to the facility by communicating between providers.
• Coordinate team and call schedules; oversee weekend assignments and admission orders.
• Answer patient call line to assist patients and families with post-discharge needs.
• Assign new business to appropriate teams from overnight operations; update Cerner.
