DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide friendly, efficient front-desk service in a busy dermatology practice. You will interact with patients, collect information, and support medical staff in daily operations.

The role involves greeting patients, scheduling, data entry into EHR systems, and handling insurance details, while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
