Perham Health is seeking a Patient Financial Services Supervisor to lead and oversee revenue cycle operations across Perham Health facilities. The role focuses on staff supervision, process efficiency, and strong customer service, ensuring timely and accurate billing, payment posting, and collections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient financial services, medical billing, or related healthcare financial setting.
• Demonstrated experience with healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support Patient Financial Services staff through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Provide direct supervision and operational oversight for prior authorization, billing, payment posting, credit balance resolution, self-pay collections, and related revenue cycle activities.
• Monitor departmental performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and service.
• Serve as a resource for staff and organizational leaders regarding PFS processes, procedures, and revenue cycle activities.
• Address and resolve escalated issues involving patients, payers, and other stakeholders.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of excellent customer service, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments, external partners, and payers to support objectives.

This role is responsible for supporting staff, maintaining effective revenue cycle processes, and ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and excellent customer service.
