Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Unit Secretary to support patient flow and ensure a calm, informed environment on the unit. You will play a key role in delivering compassionate service and coordinating care across teams.

You will greet patients and families, maintain records, enter orders, relay messages, and keep the unit clean, organized, and well-stocked. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to help care for patients and families like family.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No travel required
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supported
• Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information
• Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected
• Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort
• Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork
