Qualifications

• Two years medical clerical experience in an office setting with word-processing/personal computing skills preferred. Medical insurance experience preferred.
• Close mental and visual attention required for sustained periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients warmly and respectfully in a professional manner.
• Registers patients by obtaining complete demographic information and collects co-pays.
• Answers telephone promptly and triages patient calls.
• Handles incoming referrals, gathering all necessary records for appointments.
• Organizes patient appointments and tracks/obtains authorizations when needed.
• Works in EPIC, completing all given tasks in a timely manner.
