Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) to ensure an excellent patient experience and smooth front-office workflow. You will greet patients, complete check-in, collect payments, schedule visits, verify insurance, and support the care team.

This role requires 2–3 years in a medical office, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; healthcare experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of recent experience in a medical office setting.
• Strong computer and organizational skills; HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register/check-in, verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect copayments and outstanding balances; schedule follow-ups.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers and staff.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information.
• Prepare daily clinic schedules and support front-office operations.
• Provide compassionate customer service and ensure HIPAA compliance.
