Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Project Manager for the Patient Experience team to coordinate and drive patient experience initiatives across the hospital. You will work with leadership and frontline staff, manage projects, and promote a culture of hospitality.

The role requires 2–4 years of healthcare project management, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to mentor leaders and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry.
• Experience in inpatient hospital setting and patient experience preferred.
• Demonstrated project coordination and organizational proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient experience improvement initiatives.
• Oversee logistical and administrative aspects of initiatives.
• Monitor inventories and ensure adequate supplies.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop workflows and execute improvement plans.
• Provide education and coaching for leadership and care teams on patient experience.
• Audit and report on project performance and progress.
• Generate and share patient experience data reports.
• Promote recognition based on qualitative data.
• Support vendor relationships and evaluate new vendors.
• Champion hospitality culture and collaboration.
• Stay updated on best practices locally and nationally.
• Mentor leaders and staff in experience elevation.
