Salary: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (extending hires hour pay rate differential; pay rate depends on clinical and pediatric experience). Hours are subject to change based on practice needs.

Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12pm – 7pm (Part‑time)

Position: Patient Experience Professional (Receptionist)

We are in need of a great Patient Experience Professional (Receptionist) to join our Just Kids Pediatrics Family. Customer service is our number one priority. Spanish speaking is a plus, being a good human is a must. Minimum two (2) years of medical office experience is preferred.

Employment Summary

Answering incoming phone calls and routing to appropriate locations. Scheduling appointments. Registering patients into the computer system. Running patient insurance benefits and eligibility. Confirming appointments. Creating a positive experience through our core values with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain demographics, financial information, and enter into the computer system.
• Register patients over the phone and schedule appointments.
• Collect and make copies of all insurance cards and driver's licenses.
• Answer telephone, take messages and return voicemails.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform clerical tasks as required.
• Accurately process financial transactions.
• Support a team‑based environment by remaining flexible with scheduling and location assignments, including floating to other clinics when needed to maintain quality patient care.
