Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Medical Office Manager-Patient Experience Manager to lead the Pima Heart and Vascular office in Tucson, AZ. The role oversees central support center functions and ensures excellent patient experience while driving efficient schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and at least five years of healthcare leadership experience, with strong data analysis skills and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to drive patient experience improvements.
  • Familiarity with EMR or practice management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong data analysis to identify trends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational aspects of central support center functions (schedulers, medical records).
  • Establishes and implements training programs for central support staff.
  • Provides leadership over daily Support Center operations and monitors openings to optimize provider schedules.
  • Collaborates with leadership and physicians to address patient issues and follow up.
  • Compiles Support Center metrics and makes workflow adjustments.
  • Manages the Quality Payment Program – MIPS.
  • Identifies volume trends and adjusts staffing for peak times.
  • Collects and analyzes patient, staff and provider sentiment data for improvements.
