Qualifications

• Working knowledge of managed care and understanding of HMO’s and PPO’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm welcome.
• Check in patients and collect payments; post payments to accounts.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and balance all transactions daily.
• Provide HIPAA information and patient registrations; enter data into the EMR.
• Answer phones and manage general billing questions.
• Close out daily deposits and reconcile credit card machines.
