Job summary

Select Medical in Crestwood, KY is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients at the front desk, schedule appointments, and coordinate communication with insurers and partners. The role supports both patient care flow and center operations, with full-time weekday hours and a starting pay of $16 per hour, pending experience.

The position emphasizes delivering an exceptional patient experience from check-in through checkout, handling co-pays, and verifying insurance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk Experience required.
• Health care experience required.
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
