Job summary

Amen Clinics is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to assist the Clinic Director and psychiatrists with administrative tasks and patient care operations. You will help ensure a smooth, professional patient experience with strong customer service and clear communication.

You will keep the doctor organized, greet patients, handle inquiries, manage EMR updates, process payments, and schedule appointments while upholding HIPAA standards and teamwork across the clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; completed college coursework, Medical Assistant Certificate or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a clinic or medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Greets, checks-in and checks-out patients.
• Handles new and existing patient inquiries.
• Ensures EMR documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collects and posts patient payments.
• Answers calls and emails, relays information and messages.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels patient appointments.
• Supports the assigned doctor and other PCCs as needed.
• Provides supplement and nutraceutical information to patients.
• Maintains HIPAA/HITECH confidentiality.
