Job summary

Areté Health's ProFlex Physical Therapy in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to warmly welcome patients, coordinate appointments, support collections, and help patients stay on track with their treatment plans.

In this onsite, full-time role, you will work with the Clinic Director and therapists to keep the front desk running smoothly, manage scheduling, verify benefits, collect copays, and contribute to a positive patient experience and clinic success.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, creating a warm, professional, and positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
• Coordinate appointments, rescheduling, and proactive patient outreach to help patients stay consistent with their prescribed treatment plans.
• Verify insurance benefits, communicate patient financial responsibilities, and collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
• Follow up on patient balances through phone, text, and email with professionalism and empathy.
• Partner with the Clinic Director and therapists to maintain full schedules, fill appointment openings, and support patients in completing their plans of care.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) and scheduling systems to support smooth daily clinic operations.

ProFlex Physical Therapy, powered by Areté Health, is looking for a Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

You'll be the first friendly face our patients see and an important part of keeping the clinic running smoothly. From creating a welcoming experience to coordinating appointments, supporting patient collections, and helping patients stay on track with their treatment plans, you'll work closely with the Clinic Director and therapists to make every visit a positive one.

What you'll want to know

• Compensation: $18.00-$22.00 based on experience plus applicable performance incentives.
• Schedule: Full-time, onsite.
• Location: Chantilly, VA.
• Work environment: Outpatient physical therapy clinic where you'll manage front-office operations, patient scheduling, and collections while working closely with the Clinic Director and clinical team. This is a patient-facing role that balances hospitality with administrative responsibilities and measurable performance goals.
