Job summary

ProFlex Physical Therapy, powered by Areté Health, is seeking a Clinical Technician to join our Gaithersburg clinic. You will prepare treatment areas, assist therapists, and set up modalities, helping to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or enrolled in final year) in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Biology, or related field; OR completion of a certified technical program.
• Preferred certifications: NASM CPT, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, CSCS, ATC, EMT-Basic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment ensuring safety and readiness.
• Assist therapists in implementing therapeutic programs.
• Apply supervised therapeutic modalities (heat/cold packs, electrotherapy setup).
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and adherence during sessions.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field

What you'll want to know

• Compensation: $17.00-$19.00 DOE.
• Schedule: Part-time
• Location: Onsite at our Gaithersburg Clinic

What we're looking for

Required

• Preferred certifications: Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE), CSCS, ATC, EMT-Basic.
