Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, Utah, is seeking an EVS Housekeeping Associate to maintain patient rooms, waiting areas, and hospital spaces with a friendly, patient-focused approach. You will follow cleaning protocols, use protective equipment, and participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Experience is preferred but not required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Utilize cleaning techniques and devices per established procedures.
• Follow all PPE policies when handling chemicals and cleaning, including gloves, masks, aprons.
• Use safety equipment when handling hazardous waste and/or chemicals.
• Follow daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure customers receive courteous and caring service.
