Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT, seeks a Housekeeping Associate (EVS) to maintain patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms with attention to sanitation and safety. You will join a unified team committed to high-quality care and a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include following cleaning procedures, using PPE when handling chemicals, completing daily schedules, and contributing to performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or custodial preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, stairways, elevators and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Follow cleaning procedures using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow all PPE policies when handling chemicals and/or cleaning.
• Use PPE and protective equipment when handling hazardous waste and chemicals.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned by the department Director or Supervisor.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure customers receive courteous and caring service.
