Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Patient Engagement Lead to improve patient recruitment, retention, and engagement across clinical studies. You will collaborate with clinical sites, investigators, study teams, and external partners to translate plans into practical actions and address enrollment challenges.

In this hands-on role, you will manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, and apply operational know-how to advance patient-centric trial delivery in a sponsor-dedicated

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research or clinical trial operations.
• Experience with patient recruitment, retention, enrollment, or engagement.
• Experience coordinating with clinical research sites and investigators.
• Experience coordinating external vendors.
• Strong understanding of recruitment and enrollment operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of patient recruitment, retention, and engagement activities across clinical studies.
• Partner with sites and study teams to identify and address recruitment and retention needs.
• Build strong working relationships with clinical research sites, investigators, and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with external vendors supporting patient recruitment, enrollment, and engagement initiatives.
• Help translate study-level patient engagement plans into practical, effective actions.
• Support engagement activities throughout study execution, helping teams respond to evolving enrollment needs.
• Collaborate across therapeutic areas and with global teams to align priorities and keep activities moving forward.
• Bring a site-focused perspective to discussions around recruitment barriers, patient needs, and operational solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining strong communication and follow-through.
