Requirements include CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA certification, BLS, GED or HS diploma, and an accredited Medical Assistant program. Prior scribe or clinic experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• GED or HS diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in daily Care Team Huddles for collaborative care.
• Reviews medical records prior to visits and notes issues for discussion.
• Greets patients, records vital signs, and reconciles medications.
• Documents findings and orders in EMR and provides instructions.
• Supports clerical tasks: scheduling, referrals, forms, and insurance verification.
