ChristianaCare's Food & Nutrition Services team seeks a Food Service Assistant I to ensure patients receive accurate, high-quality meals in a safe, sanitary environment. You will assemble trays, read dietary instructions, and keep work areas clean and sanitary while upholding our values of Excellence and Love.

Starting rate is $17.80 per hour with scheduled increases after six months and after one year, reflecting the organization’s commitment to fair compensation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or currently enrolled in high school).
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently.
• Read and follow meal tickets, including modified and therapeutic diets.
• Replenish food supplies and maintain trayline operations.
• Operate and clean dishwashing, pot washing, and sanitation equipment.
• Follow food safety, infection prevention, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas and properly handle waste disposal.
• Provide compassionate service while supporting ChristianaCare's values of Excellence and Love.
