Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to perform patient meal service on assigned units. Responsibilities include tray assembly, delivery and documentation of intake, and coordinating with nursing for updated diet orders.

The role requires assembling trays, delivering meals, and communicating dietary needs with the care team, with rotating weekends and holidays. Daily pay option available for this part-time position.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must be able to work AM & PM shifts.
• Rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
