Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to provide patient meal service on assigned units. This includes tray assembly, menu selections, and nourishment delivery to patients to support daily hospital operations.

The role requires delivering trays, recording intake and calories, and coordinating with nursing for diet orders. A High School Diploma or GED is required with no prior experience needed.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
