Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to support patient meal services in our hospital environments. You will prepare heat-and-serve meals, deliver to patient areas, and maintain sanitation throughout the food service areas.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Food Handler Safety Training Certificate, with at least 2 years of hospital food service experience preferred. Travel to multiple facility locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required and written/oral communication is essential.
• Minimum 2 years hospital food service experience preferred.
• Food Handler Safety Training certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Sets up trays for meals and delivers to patients.
• Operates dishwasher and ensures cleanliness of dishes and utensils.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in all food service areas.
• Picks up food from stores when standard providers are unavailable.
• Travels to all facility locations as required.
