Job summary

Insight seeks a Dietary Aide to support patient meal service, cafeteria operations, and production area sanitation in a hospital setting. You will prepare foods, label and date items, and maintain proper temperatures per HACCP guidelines while following safety policies.

You will deliver meals, stock trays, operate the cafeteria cashier, and maintain clean service areas. Excellent communication with patients and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to make change and keep records accurately.
• Follow directions and respond to inquiries with effective interpersonal skills.
• Verbalize information to customers about product/recipe contents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas.
• Prepare and portion foods to patient trays and cafeteria areas.
• Deliver meals and nourishments to patient care areas and rooms.
• Operate cashier functions and handle sales transactions in cafeteria.
• Rotates stock and labels foods per Dietary policies.
• Assist with pot washing and keeping trays and production areas clean.
