Job summary

Intermountain Health Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a full-time Food Service Associate to join our Nutrition Services team. The role covers patient meal tray assembly and delivery, cashier duties, food assembly, serving, and cleaning.

36 hours weekly with variable shifts including weekends and holidays. The position requires Food Handler Permit or ServSafe on day one, along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Food handler permit or ServSafe certification required by first day on the job.
• Experience with modified diets preferred.
• Exceptional customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents patient trays using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation per system standards and recipes.
• Maintains dining area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Handles cash/credit transactions per system standards.
• Resolves basic customer service issues independently.
