Job summary

Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Regular full-time food service associate to support patient meal service. You will handle diet orders, preferences, tray assembly and delivery, and charting of intake and output, while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Three twelve-hour shifts are required, with potential weekends/evenings/holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process diet orders and plan patient meals.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays according to diet orders and preferences.
• Maintain intake and output charting and ensure sanitation in food service.
• Perform ware washing and cold food preparation as required.
