Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a PRN Food Service Worker to support cafeteria operations, cashiering, dish room, deli, dining room and vending restocking. Shifts are Monday–Friday 4:00pm–8:00pm with PRN as needed; every other weekend/holiday and a minimum of 36 PRN hours per quarter are required.

You will manage the cash terminal, prepare reports, monitor temperatures, assist with catering, maintain inventory, and uphold Serve Safe and health standards while delivering

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all areas of the cafeteria including dishes, serving, dining and cashiering.
• Operates cash terminal, prints reports and reconciles cash drawer totals.
• Documents temperatures of hot/cold foods and maintains health records per local/state requirements.
• Assists with catering functions and inventory restocking.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to Serve Safe and health standards.
