Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Hospitality Associate to support patient food service on assigned units. You will manage menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, handle special requests, and ensure adherence to dietary restrictions while collaborating with nursing and dietary staff.

The role requires a patient-focused attitude, basic math skills for tray accuracy, and comfort working in a collaborative hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to operate hospital computer systems and manage patient-care records.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly and delivery.
• Assembles trays according to patient menus and dietary restrictions.
• Communicates patient needs and dietary concerns to nursing and dietary staff.
• Maintains accurate patient information in the unit records and follows safety procedures.
