Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a Food Production Worker to prepare and serve meals for patients according to prescribed diets and state regulations. You will assist with patient care by delivering diet-appropriate foods and maintain strict infection control practices in a high-volume hospital setting.

The role requires ability to follow standardized recipes, operate kitchen equipment, and work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Must be able to calculate and prepare diets from standardized recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for patients according to prescribed diets.
• Assist with patient care by providing food appropriate for each diet.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Operate and maintain food preparation equipment.
• Provide cafeteria service in a professional manner.
