Pappas Restaurants is hiring a Patient Dining Clerk for Val Verde, at Luby’s Culinary Services. You will visit patients, introduce room service, assess menu suitability, and assist with selections in line with diet orders.

Work with Culinary Services and Nursing to relay patient needs, support timely meal delivery, and ensure satisfaction. Applicants must be 18+, able to pass background screening, and comply with ADA accommodations.

We provide customized dining solutions for health care, senior living, corporate dining, and education settings.Now Interviewing Patient Dining Clerks! We're looking for positive and friendly team players. The Patient Dining Clerk will visit patients, introduce the patient to room service, assess whether patient is appropriate for menu selections, and assist patients with menu selections.Responsibilities:Responsible for patient special request/needs and provides in-between meal food delivery. Relays patient food issues/concerns to Culinary Services and Nursing.Interacts with RD in regard to patient nutrition needs or requirements.Reacts accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of diet ordered by physician.Knows and understands dietary restrictions on special and modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.Provides quality service which will be evident by patient satisfaction survey results on assigned units.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age to apply to this position.Background and drug screens may be required.Additional InformationThis job posting contains some general information about what it is like to work at Pappas Restaurants and is not a complete job description.
