Job summary

Luby's Culinary Services is interviewing for a Patient Dining Clerk to work on-site at our DHR Health location. You will greet patients, explain room-service options, and help select menu items while adhering to dietary restrictions and physician orders.

Roles may be full-time or part-time with competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic hospital dining team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Background and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients and introduce them to room service.
• Assist patients with menu selections and accommodate special requests.
• Relate patient food issues/concerns to Culinary Services and Nursing staff.
• Coordinate with Registered Dietitian on nutrition needs and diet restrictions.
• Ensure timely service and accuracy of diet orders as changes occur.
