UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Food Service Specialist to join our patient dining team. You will help patients choose meals, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure dietary needs are met with care and accuracy.

The role involves stocking essentials, assisting with basic food prep, and delivering snacks and supplements. A positive attitude and ability to work with patients and staff is essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Strength to lift up to 50 lbs and move carts; good motor skills.
• Strong verbal communication with patients, nurses and coworkers.
• Empathetic approach with everyone you meet.

Responsabilités
