Job summary

Pickerington Methodist Hospital is seeking a Part Time Patient Dining Associate to support Nutrition Services. You will assist with meal order completion, tray assembly and timely delivery to patients, maintaining accuracy and proper temperature.

Role requires interaction with patients, visitors and staff, adherence to service standards, and basic computer tasks for meal management. 24 hours per week schedule may vary.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma.
• 6 months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient meal orders, assemble, distribute and retrieve meal trays in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear and accurate communications with dietitians, nursing staff and all OhioHealth associates.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors and associates to meet or exceed service standards.
• Clean and stock work stations, pods and kitchen areas as assigned.
• Use department hospital computer systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments, floor stocks, late trays and record temperatures of unit refrigerators.

They are part of the caregiving team, responsible for patient safety and satisfaction goals by making sure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.**Responsibilities And Duties:**35% Responsible for patient satisfaction to include completing patient meal orders, assembling, distributing and retrieval of meal trays in a timely manner. May be assigned to assist in other areas of the department as needed.
