Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Mayo Clinic in Albert Lea, MN. This full-time role runs 5:30 am to 7:00 pm with rotating weekends and holidays, offering a fixed pay rate of $18.91 per hour.

You will join a caring team that nourishes patients, supports staff, and upholds HACCP and HIPAA standards. As part of the hospital dining service, you’ll assist patients with menu choices, assemble and deliver meals, monitor dietary restrictions, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure their orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, restrictions, or preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and deliver to patient rooms on time.
