Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to perform patient meal service, tray assembly, and delivery on assigned units. The role supports the Department of Food and Nutrition and interacts with nursing to follow updated diet orders and patient needs.

The position is full-time with AM and PM shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and daily pay available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
