Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to perform patient meal service on assigned units, assemble trays, and deliver meals to patients, supporting nourishment and recovery.

This part-time role requires availability for AM and PM shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, with daily pay option and comprehensive departmental support.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
