Job Summary

As a Patient Dining Associate, you will assist on assigned units by helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and collecting meal trays. Your role is crucial in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction through accurate and timely meal delivery.

Essential Duties

1. Assist patients with menu selections and collaborate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
2. Offer menu alternatives considering allergies, cultural preferences, or additional inquiries.
3. Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and ensure timely delivery and collection.
4. Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain confidentiality.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
6. Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets or with specific calorie requirements.
7. Report problems or concerns promptly.
8. Complete all required documentation and reports.
9. Adhere to health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
