• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Rotating schedule, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work in healthcare facilities, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are responsible for patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
2. Work with the team to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
3. Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately, and retrieve trays.
4. Comply with regulatory standards and confidentiality policies.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
6. Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
7. Communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
8. Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
