• We are hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE - DIETARY AIDE positions.
• Location: Fitzgibbon Hospital - 2305 South Highway 65, Marshall, MO 65340. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are part of the caregiving team, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at proper temperature to meet patient safety and satisfaction goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet their nutritional needs.
• Work with caregivers and culinary staff to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, religious preferences, or additional inquiries.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately, and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with regulatory standards including federal, state, and JCAHO, and adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, infection control policies, and assist dietitians with patient monitoring as needed.
• Report problems or concerns promptly and complete required reports.
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.
