Job summary

The role involves following diet orders, helping with nourishments, and maintaining a clean, sanitary dining and kitchen area. High school diploma preferred with no supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with associates, patients and visitors.
• Ability to read and interpret basic safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Help with meal preparation and tray delivery to patients.
• Clean dining and kitchen areas after meals and between shifts.
• Follow infection control policies and proper sanitation procedures.
• Record temperatures and assist with stocking and inventory as needed.
