Job summary

Heritage Inn Barnesville is hiring for a dietary/ kitchen assistant role within a non-profit healthcare setting. You will support cooks, serve meals and nourishments to residents, and maintain a clean dining area while following diet orders and safety policies.

The position offers benefits and weekly pay, with a pay rate of $15.16/hour. A high school diploma is preferred, and Microsoft Office skills help with daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks in preparing desserts, snacks and meals for patients.
• Carry trays to patients and serve beverages in the dining area.
• Clean tables, dishes and kitchen equipment after meals and at shift end.
• Record temperatures and monitor stock levels per procedures.
• Follow infection control policies and dietary orders when serving nourishments.
