Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time roles at Merit Health Wesley, Hattiesburg, MS. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble meals, and ensure timely delivery while following nutrition plans and safety guidelines.

Positions offer 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends; previous healthcare experience is preferred, and the pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour. Online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsabilités

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and dietary needs.
• Assemble meals according to patient menus and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with HIPAA, federal/state regulations and facility policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for handling food and sanitation.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets.
