CommonSpirit Health is seeking an Nutrition Assistant II at Holy Cross Hospital - West Valley to support healthcare food service operations and patient dietary care. You will work with staff to ensure meals meet prescribed diets and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities include portioning meals, monitoring temperatures, and using electronic diet software to access orders. Excellent customer service and professional care are essential in delivering quality nutritional support.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• If a Food Handler Permit is required, obtain within 30 days of hire per state rules.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve food according to menu and dietary requirements with proper labeling.
• Monitor temperatures, prevent cross-contamination, and maintain hygiene.
• Ensure accurate meal portioning and appealing presentation for patients.
• Follow therapeutic diet modifications and access diet orders via electronic systems.
• Explain basic therapeutic diets to patients and families and collect preferences.
• Support department operations and clean work areas and equipment as needed.
