Job summary

BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a motivated Patient Coordinator I for a full-time role at our Sunset Hills outpatient imaging center. This position emphasizes excellent patient interaction, registration, scheduling, and coordination within a patient-focused team.

The role offers evening hours (Mon–Fri 10:30 am–7:00 pm) with some weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package. Entry-level training is provided and relocation or sign-on support may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills essential.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and registering patients and coordinating their visits.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday (Evening)
• Hours: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Weekend Rotation: One rotating half-day Saturday per month

The Business Office Team is responsible for collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management. The upper levels of this series also include the training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure the management and resources are available to maintain a quality, high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
