Job summary

BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a Scheduler I for a Monday–Friday shift at our Sunset Hills outpatient imaging center. You will be a key part of a patient-focused team, handling registration, scheduling, and front-desk tasks while maintaining accuracy and compassion.

We value clear communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to train at entry level. Depending on role, some remote work opportunities may be available. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and coordinate patients and staff, welcome and register patients.
• Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain medical records.
• Support center operations including inventory and patient coordination.

Come and join our team as a Scheduler I for a Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm or 8am - 4:30pm) shift at our outpatient imaging center located in Sunset Hills.

The Business Office Team is responsible for collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management. The upper levels of this series also include the training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure the management and resources are available to maintain a quality, high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
