BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a patient-focused Patient Coordinator I to join our Sunset Hills imaging center on a full-time basis. You will greet and register patients, coordinate appointments, manage phone inquiries, and assist with basic medical records.

This role emphasizes clear communication, organization, and teamwork in a friendly, fast-paced environment. We offer shift differential, benefits, and opportunities for growth; training is provided for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and multitask in a busy clinical office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients and coordinate their visits.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with inventory as needed.
• Support the imaging center team to provide respectful, patient-centered care.

Come and join our team as a Patient Coordinator I for a Full Time at our brand new outpatient imaging center located in Sunset Hills.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (Evening)
• Hours: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Weekend Rotation: One rotating half-day Saturday per month

The Business Office Team is responsible for collaborating and leading the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting the operational goals for both the Center and the organization. This includes all customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination, as well as phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management. The upper levels of this series also include the training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members. The overall scope for this series is designed to ensure the management and resources are available to maintain a quality, high functioning, and customer friendly Outpatient Imaging Center.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
