Job summary

Elite-Dental-Partners is seeking a Patient Coordinator to greet patients, manage schedules, verify insurance, and educate families in a caring dental practice environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and proficient use of Dentrix and Microsoft Office to support an elite patient experience and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree or additional education in business or healthcare preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in dental/medical/healthcare or customer service setting.
• Knowledge of dental insurance and explanation of benefits preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a productive daily schedule and arrange future appointments.
• Confirm appointments and update the schedule as needed.
• Answer questions about insurance and financial arrangements.
• Collect and post payments from patients and insurers.
• Balance nightly deposits and process credit card transactions.

• Greet patients and their families making them feel welcome in the practice
• Gather patient information, create their files, and verify insurance eligibility
• Maintain a productive schedule for the day and schedule future appointments
• Confirm patient appointments and update the schedule as needed
• Answer patient questions about insurance and financial arrangements
• Collect and post payments from patients and insurance companies
• Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, a degree or additional education in a business or healthcare discipline preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a dental, medical, healthcare, or customer service environment
• Knowledge of dental insurance and explanation of benefits preferred
• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, Dentrix experience strongly preferred
