The Patient Care Coordinator plays an essential role in ensuring a smooth patient experience while supporting NIH program objectives. These full time, on-site positions are based on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD or Baltimore, MD.* Coordinate patient-related activities to support efficient and high-quality care delivery* Serve as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and administrative teams* Assist with scheduling, referrals, follow-ups, and care coordination activities* Support patient intake processes, documentation, and record maintenance* Help ensure patients receive timely information and support throughout their care journey* Track patient interactions and care coordination activities using established systems* Adherent to privacy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements**What You Will Need:*** Associate degree* A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience in patient coordination, healthcare administration, and/or clinical support roles* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Familiarity with healthcare workflows, referrals, or care management processes* Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)* Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) or similar data systems* Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
