Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an entry to mid-level patient services associate to support scheduling, patient intake, and front desk activities in a fast-growing outpatient radiology setting.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, insurance information collection, and collaboration with referring offices to ensure smooth, timely patient flow. Training is provided, and a professional dress code applies across departments.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Duties may include lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking.
• Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department.

Responsibilities

• Schedules/re-schedules patient appointments at the appropriate facility and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintains designated account folder following departmental expectations.
• Communicates regularly with assigned referring offices and appropriate sales representatives.
• Ensures patients have been cleared for specific diagnostic tests.
• Collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information as needed.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills while providing excellent customer service.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Physician Support Manager
• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
• Schedules/re-schedules patient appointments at the appropriate facility and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
